Commensalism in biology, is a relationship
between two species whereby one (the
commensal) benefits from the association,
whereas the other neither benefits nor
suffers. eg: a certain species of millipede
and silverfish inhabit the nests of army ants
and live by scavenging on the refuse of their
hosts, but without affecting the ants.
